Following their recent tour of the northern hemisphere which included appearances at the famous Reading and Leeds Festivals as well as shows in LA and San Diego, The Scare are set to release their debut album, ‘Chivalry’.

‘Chivalry’ which was produced by Scott Horscroft (The Sleepy Jackson, The Presets), will be released in Australia on October 6 through Below Par/Virgin, whilst in the UK, the album will hits stores there on November 5 on Below Par/Universal..

Over the past year, The Scare have been busy, not only recording the album in Sydney over summer, but also scoring themselves new fans such as Perry Farrell, Daniel Johns, We Are Scientists and the Gallows, all hand picking the band to play with them. Along with the usual press excited about bands wearing a new pair of jeans, The Scare have enjoyed their fair share.

Having just recently supported Powderfinger and Silverchair on their ‘Across The Great Divide Tour in Gold Coast and Sydney, The Scare will now head out on their first national tour playing songs from the new album, including the track Bats! Bats! Bats! which has been lighting up the airwaves over the past couple of months.

The Scare will be supported by Regular John on all dates of the “CHIVALRY TOUR”.
