Description
People living in Pittsburgh have more to cheer than Sid the Kid and Penguins push for the Stanley Cup – There is also a really talented band sharing the spotlight with the rags-to-riches hockey franchise; Incommunicado.
I’m going to make this easy for you. If Rise Against and Anti-Flag flew to California and got married, Incommunicado would be their love-child. With not as frantic pace as either of those bands, the vocals switch between both groups in sound and while not as preachy (or corny) as Anti-Flag, they possess a similar style that mesh elements of hardcore, punk and Fugazi-ish instrumentals. It’s a solid debut that will no doubt have some legs and should find it’s way onto your media player of choice very soon – if you are tired of listening to the same stuff over and over again, give these guys a shot.
