Description
There is something to be said about bands like Small Arms Dealer; their ability to play such good music is always baffling to me – with just the right amount of punk rock and smartass pop, Small Arms Dealer exceed their album’s title Patron Saint of Disappointment – don’t let it fool you.
At first listen, I’m instantly reminded of a more pop version of Latterman (go figure, since this fucker was produced by Phil Douglas) – Bear with me here, it’s not that they are worse, but they employ more of a sense of humor and ironic songwriting then most bands, and that I can appreciate.
Small Arms dealer employ musical and lyrical wit with such force and execution it’s like I’m listening to some experiment on satire - be still my gentle heart! Especially when singer Lubrano is singing: my outrage is abundant, fasecious, redundant/i long for a punch line that never comes
Every track is different enough to keep you hooked in to the action – this record is pretty much like one prolonged orgasm with your neighbors daughter (or son, whatever). It feels good from start to finish and that’s the whole point right? Why bother wasting our time with shitty music – I can’t thank Small Arms Dealer enough for writing this record, it’s just such a good fucking time.
Thanks for the party, dudes.
Go see them, or die.
