Description
Well, you guessed it. Static Radio NJ hail from New Jersey, sharing the same hometown as Thursday, New Brunswick (not to be confused with our province of the same name).
Static Radio play the same style hardcore as bands like paint it black or shook ones. You can also hear some slight Bouncing Souls influence as well, which is not surprising since their 7 inch was released on Chunksaah Records, run by the Souls.
The album is quick and to the point – It’s laced in NJ pride and has the punkrock roots to back up their sound. I like these simple structured albums, they leave no guesswork and are a direct showing of the musicians influences and their own take on the world and that’s fine by me.
Just like the title suggests, this record is one of the good guys. I expect big things to happen with Static Radio
